What they built

• ✦ Took the Mistral Vibe install target (#1497) and, before writing the adapter, tested the real binary against its documentation: found that Vibe does register MCP servers through vibe mcp add, correcting his own docs-based report, and that the empty mcp_servers table vibe mcp remove leaves behind would make the TOML registrar write a file Vibe refuses to load, so the registrar shared with Codex gets that case covered;
• ✦ an install-breaking bug caught before a single line landed;
• ✦ then shipped that fix himself as his first PR (#1521) across four review rounds: the shared TOML registrar reads a config the way TOML does, removes the empty array, leaves a non-empty one untouched with a clear message, and writes only when everything else in the file stays unchanged
